A 48-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his nephew after he scolded the latter’s sister in north east Delhi’s Sunder Nagri, police said on Tuesday.
“We were informed about the incident around 7.51 pm on Monday at the Nand Nagri police station when the injured was rushed to the GTB Hospital by his family members, where he was declared brought dead by doctors,” a police officer said.

With the information received, a team immediately reached the spot.
Additionally, the crime team, along with the forensic experts, was called to the crime scene to collect evidence from the spot.
A senior officer also came to inspect the spot, and on the basis of the inspection, a case has been registered at the police station.
During the preliminary inquiry into the case, it came out that the deceased had scolded his minor niece over a trivial matter, following which she narrated the incident to her brother.
In a fit of rage because of this, the nephew attacked his uncle with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries, the officer mentioned.
Adding to his statement further, the officer said that the accused has been identified and we are putting in efforts to apprehend him.
Further investigation into this case is ongoing by the cops, the officer added.
